Thank you all! xoxo My car's automatic transmission warning light came on just outside of Oakhurst, on our way into the Yosemite Valley to go tent camping. While we were at AAC waiting to get diagnosed and hear the results, I saw firsthand the relationship they have with their local customers. They know their customers by name, ask about their families, and take time with them as they set them up for their routine appointments. I also realized how often they must have travelers come through, flustered by bad luck in the midst of a high pressure situation threatening their vacation. If you are an out-of-towner, please recognize that they have a business that services their local customers as well, and be willing to wait patiently and breathe deeply so that you can treat the AAC staff with kindness. Through our experience, it is clear that the staff will do everything they can in their power to care for you as well. (Not that everything is in their power, but if they can do it for you, they will, especially if there is mutual respect given!) We were so appreciative of how they took care of us (even calling a friend with an Air Bnb when we needed a place to stay while they fixed the car and then driving us to our hotel!) that we stopped off on our way home to thank them and give hugs. Thank you, AAC!

Traveling with RV and needed brakes and rear seal replaced on my pickup. Kutter got us in and out the next day. Was so happy I chose Advanced Auto. This is a great auto shop and Kutter is a great guy. Knowledgeable, fair, honest, and professional. Oakhurst is fortunate to have an auto shop like this one! Thanks, Kutter for all you did!

I have been very impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism of this business and their rep Kutter. I have enough mechanical knowledge to do most work my self but not enough time, so I am always looking for a shop to help keep maintenance up on my vehicles, especially the hard time-consuming jobs. I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler and the first major issue it ever had was a leaking heater core. This work requires most of the engine compartment and most of the dashboard be removed in order to properly replace the core. There is a cheap and quick way to do this work which requires cutting some of the dash frame which is not what I wanted. They did a great job, you could not tell most of the Jeep had been removed and put back together when they were done and you could not even smell the old leak anymore. It was not cheap, but it was a fair price for quality work and no short cut shenanigans! Because of that work, I brought it back for a 100,000-mile refresh. I am often alone back in the high country and I always want it to be reliable. They went through the jeep with a fine-toothed comb and found things, I would not even have thought of, that could have left me stranded in the mountains. They showed me the damaged or used up parts and let me make the choice to replace or return the old part. They removed and replaced a lot of worn-out parts. When it was done and paid for I audited the four-page detailed parts and labor report. Most parts I found online were equal in price to what they charged me or within 10%. A fair rate for time spent researching and ordering. I found one $60.00 dollar part that looked like it may have been billed twice. I was going to write it off as an accident and a fair tip for such a great job! Two days later I got a call from Kutter saying he had done a final check of the parts sheet and found a double-billed part and would be refunding the amount. I can't tell you how much that impresses me. No reputable shop is going to be cheap. Quality work and quality parts cost money. I am happy to have found these guys and trust that if I have to spend money I will get the most for it with Advanced Auto. Great Job Guys. Thanks

Newer Vehicles Generate as Much As 25GB of Data/Hour according to McKinsey.  Now That is Extremely Interesting!  It is also daunting as we now need to know "what data" right?  You also want to know where it is going if anywhere and who owns the data?  All interesting questions that we never thought about.  Just get in and drive, choose a destination and if a light goes off in the dash you call us here at Advanced Auto Center to schedule an appointment.   We want our Oakhurst drivers to be informed as always and able to make their choices based on having facts.  This is a big change in the automotive-truck service industry and it really has not hit the news at all, so it is up to us to get you up-to-date and informed.  Here are the facts and where you can find more information!

If you own a Ford vehicle you may be affected by this recall. According to CBS News, Ford recently announced a recall that affects over 1.3 million vehicles that are primarily located in North America. The recall was issued mainly due to problems with rear suspension and transmission control software.
